We are proud to announce that our associate attorneys, Yejin Kim and Drew Pollom, have been named the Seattle Pro Bono Team of the Year by KIND (Kids In Need of Defense)! They have dedicated their time and skills to ensure that unaccompanied children receive the legal protections they deserve.
KIND reports that immigration judges are 100 times more likely to grant legal relief to unaccompanied children with legal counsel than to those without. With the help of many pro bono attorneys, KIND is working tirelessly to change this. Through their time and commitment, KIND’s pro bono lawyers and partners help fulfill a central part of the organization’s mission: ensuring that no child appears in immigration court without high-quality legal representation.
