It, therefore, comes as no surprise that the Chief Seattle Council, Boy Scouts of America, has chosen to honor him by establishing the 'Don Black Build-A-Leader' Award, which will be presented at their annual Build-A-Leader Auction.
The Don Black Build-A-Leader Award has been created to recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond in their volunteer service, dedicated to advancing the Scouting mission within the Chief Seattle Council.
