Biography
Julia is an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation and employment groups. Julia represents businesses, municipalities, and individuals in all stages of the litigation process, including risk assessment, discovery, motions practice, and alternative dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation. Julia delivers efficiency and thoughtfulness in her practice by listening to her clients and understanding their optimal outcome. Prior to joining Ogden Murphy Wallace, Julia practiced at a Seattle-based boutique commercial litigation firm. During law school, she interned with the Honorable Robert E. Jones of the U.S. District Court of Oregon, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the University of Washington Mediation Clinic.
When Julia is not actively pursuing the interests of her litigation clients, she is a licensed Private Investigator. She conducts workplace investigations surrounding sexual harassment, sexual assault, discrimination based on race, age, and national origin, violations of workplace policies, and retaliation. In every investigation, Julia brings patience, empathy, and thoughtful analysis.
Julia received her undergraduate degree in history from Oregon State University, summa cum laude. At the University of Washington School of Law, she served as Vice President of Finance for Moot Court Honor Board, Senior Comments Editor of the Washington International Law Journal, and Vice President of Communication for the Women’s Law Caucus.
When Julia is not working, she loves to play tennis, take her corgi, Nancy, and golden retriever, Winston, on long walks, and experiment in the kitchen.
