Dan is an experienced litigator who focuses on trust and estates litigation, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, and complex commercial litigation.
A skilled attorney with experience in many industries, Dan is a Member in the firm’s Seattle office. His practice primarily focuses on trust & estates litigation, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, and complex commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice in both Washington and California.
Dan brings a pragmatic and problem-solving approach to his clients’ legal issues, drawing upon his experience and understanding not only of the practice of litigation, but on the real-world impacts to his clients. While Dan enjoys bringing his judgment and analysis to bear on untangling complex legal issues and advocating for his clients, he is equally interested in counseling his clients to achieve the most expedient resolution of the challenges at hand – whether by negotiation, motion practice, trial, or some combination thereof.
Dan earned his J.D. from University of California Davis School of Law and his B.A. from University of Oregon with a major in Philosophy. In law school, Dan was an articles editor for the UC Davis Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif, and a member of the Feminist Forum. Dan also earned his M.Ed. in counseling from Seattle University, and acts as a mental health counselor when not practicing law.
Outside the office, Dan is an avid reader, music aficionado, and record collector. Each year, he also makes it a point to indulge in a brief period of optimism for a certain Seattle-area baseball franchise.
