Andrew’s practice focuses primarily on environmental and natural resource matters including regulation and litigation arising under the Clean Water Act (CWA); Clean Air Act (CAA); Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA); and analogous state laws.
With a strong environmental science background, Andrew understands complex scientific issues. Prior to entering the legal profession, he received his undergraduate degree in environmental science, worked as a biological aide for the U.S. Forest Service, and worked as a staff member for then-U.S. Representative Jay Inslee. This experience working in various federal positions enhances Andrew’s ability to serve our clients – he can integrate technical, business and legal issues into an overall strategy to find solutions to complex environmental and regulatory problems.
Andrew represents municipal, tribal, and private clients in a range of land use and environmental matters, including multi-party Superfund sites. In addition, he assists Indian tribes with the development and implementation of their Tribal Environmental Programs.
