We are thrilled to introduce Oskar Rey to our Municipal Team and invite you to join him for an engaging and insightful brown bag session titled 'It’s a Group Effort: Public Records Tips and Best Practices for City Employees and Officials.'
This informative session is scheduled for May 1st at Noon, hosted at the City of Tukwila's Justice Center. We warmly welcome all city employees and officials to attend. Please bring your lunch to enjoy during the presentation.
After 7.5 years working as a legal consultant at MRSC, Oskar Rey brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to our Municipal Group that will benefit our cities as they strive to perform essential work in their communities. If you are interested and curious to learn more about public records best practices, this event is not to be missed.
The presentation will:
- Explain why Public Records Act compliance is not solely the responsibility of the public records officer.
- Help employees and officials consider the Public Records Act in relation to their use of technology and record management.
- Provide real-world examples of why public records management matters.
Participants are encouraged to bring questions and share their ideas and experiences. Interaction is encouraged!
The event will take place at the City of Tukwila's Justice Center in the EOC conference room which is located at 15005 Tukwila International Blvd., Tukwila, WA 98188.
