Seattle, Washington (June 16, 2023)- Ogden Murphy Wallace PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of two new members, Janet Gray and Sara Kiviat Berkenwald. Formerly with Jeppesen Gray Sakai P.S., Janet and Sara’s practices focus on estate planning, trust administration, probate, taxation, and charitable giving. Their extensive experience and professional connections will be a valuable complement to Ogden Murphy Wallace’s existing Trust and Estate group.

“We are delighted to introduce Janet and Sara, who are valuable additions to OMW and who will elevate and expand our Trust and Estate practice group and expertise. The establishment of a Bellevue office to support their practice further strengthens our ability to serve our Eastside clients and extends our reach in the greater Puget Sound region,” said Don Black, Chair at Ogden Murphy Wallace. “This strategic addition better positions OMW to deliver a wide range of legal services that effectively and efficiently meet the unique needs of our clients.”

OMW is a well-established multi-specialty regional law firm with a prominent position in the Pacific Northwest for over 120 years. With the addition of Janet and Sara, the total number of attorneys across Bellevue, Seattle, and Wenatchee will exceed 65. The firm is among the top 10 regional law firms exclusively headquartered and operating in the Pacific Northwest market.

Janet Grey- As a member of the Washington State Bar Association for over 40 years, Janet exclusively represents clients, which uniquely transcend generations, in the areas of estate planning and probate administration, taxation, and planned charitable giving. Janet's dedication beyond her professional practice is evident through her role as a founding member of the Ripple Giving Fund, which supports at risk women and children in India with the goal of ending human trafficking, child marriage and forced labor.

Sara Kiviat Berkenwald – Sara’s practice specializes in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, probate, taxation, and charitable giving. Sara designs and implements successful wealth transfer strategies by carefully blending legal and tax expertise with each of her client's personal philosophy and family goals. In addition to her professional work, she actively serves her community by volunteering for city commissions, community foundations, and professional legal organizations.

“Our move to OMW is a fantastic opportunity to deepen support for our clients, staff, and the legacy of our work. OMW provides a breadth of practice areas that compliment many of our clients’ needs. We are looking forward to working synergistically with the outstanding OMW team and to a seamless transition for our clients, which OMW has so thoughtfully provided.” said Janet Gray.
